Pink Sunset at Ko Olina Lagoon Acrylic Painting

Ko Olina lagoons are another favorite place to go when I visit Oahu. All four lagoons are right next to each other and each one is protected by these large rock sea walls. I loved watching the little kids, and my big kid, play in the gentle rolling waves.

This particular painting was inspired by the sunset we saw while swimming in the lagoon by the Marriott hotel. I was standing on the rock sea wall and couldn’t believe the water could be blue, green and this coral pink color all at the same time. It truly was magical.
